Description from 1930’s Allcocks trade catelogue:-
The Allcocks-Arial Sea Reel. Made of Bakelite. Cannot warp or corrode. With all the ususal Allcocks Arial features such as weight regulator, but with an extra large line capability. The best sea casting reel ever made. Also suitable for salmon spinning. Black only. 4 inch.

This reel is stamped with Allcocks logo making it quite rare as not all their reels carry the logo.
